A world of Hawaiian myths and legends - the historic Pu'uhonua o Honaunau National Park can hardly be put into words. You can find out the history behind the high god portraits from a former chief of the island. The mythical stories are still alive in the society today.

During the hikes, you will take short breaks to enjoy the view.
The next attraction is a visit to the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The Kilauea is the most active volcano in the world. The rainforest environment is dotted with underground and hidden lava tunnels, as well as impressive volcanic formations.
In Hilo, you will make a stop at a tropical fruit plantation and visit the Waianuenue Rainbow Falls. The waterfalls impress with their permanent rainbows, which are especially visible in the early morning hours.
