You can find out the history behind the high god portraits from a former chief of the island. The mythical stories are still alive in the society today.

The next stop of this tour is the Punalu'u Beach Park. Its smaller size seems to do nothing but enhance its unique splendor. Once you have walked through the dense green, you will see the black sand formed by the volcanic activity on the island. Sea turtles that come here to rest.
