It is located on the southern tip of Motu Piti Aau, a 10-kilometer island on a coral reef surrounding Bora Bora. It is about 20 minutes from Bora Bora Airport. A 50-minute flight will take you to Papeete International Airport.

Perfect for those urges for authentic local cuisine, but with a modern twist, Le Tipanié restaurant offers a semi-gourmet menu with a selection of Polynesian and international specialties that changes weekly. Overlooking the breathtaking sunset against the backdrop of the majestic  Mt. Otemanu volcano and the glistening sea, this restaurant offers à la carte dishes and buffets in various themes.

At the Te Ava restaurant, eat as the sand seeps between your toes and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere due to its poolside location. This relaxed beachfront restaurant is reminiscent of a typical Tahitian village and provides the perfect backdrop for a romantic lunch or a casual dinner.

The Miki Miki Bar offers a menu full of colorful cocktails alongside a most romantic view. As a special place in the hotel, it is easily recognizable for its boat-shaped terrace and wooden bar. You will be able to have a drink during the day or later in the evening, enjoying the inspiring beauty of the turquoise lagoon, the gold softness of the sunset and the brightness of the starry sky, all the while overlooking the Mount Otemanu. 

In addition to the Bora Bora crystal blue lagoon and its tropical fishes, Le Méridien Bora Bora offers two infinity pools facing Mount Otemanu. The pools are complemented by a large inner lagoon where guests can enjoy a relaxing bath surrounded by the resort’s white sandy beaches.

The turtle reserve at the resort protects beautiful loggerhead and green sea turtles and it is the only one of its kind in French Polynesia. Interesting presentations are given on these fascinating and highly endangered species so that you can learn further about them. Guests can also swim with the turtles in the beautiful lagoon, or even "adopt" turtles as part of the reintegration program of turtles into their natural habitat. Experience adventures at Kaïnalu Club, where you can rent traditional Polynesian outrigger canoes, jet ski, sail, feed sharks and dive.

Bungalows exude a warm welcome with their polished hardwood, large louvered, thatched earth toned fabrics. Classic Motu Bungalow (50 sqm) - Located at the beginning of the pontoon over shallow water, they do not have direct access to the lagoon but still boast beautiful views over it. It is a great alternative for enjoying the resort at a lower rate.

Beach Bungalow (50 sqm) - These bungalows are located directly along the private lagoon, where guests can enjoy the benefit of a private beach furnished with a double hammock and sun beds. Surrounded by trees and lush vegetation, these bungalows have a sense of privacy and intimacy.

** Motu Overwater Bungalow ** (50 sqm) - Located on the south branch, these bungalows feature a view of the Motu and are built to appreciate the environment and ecosystem. Each has a large section of glass in the floor to provide endless appreciation of nature whilst sunlight beams through the clear blue sea reflecting natural light into the room. Ladders from the deck make it easy to slip into the lagoon’s clear water for a swim.
