The Black River Gorges National Park with the Black River Gorge, Chamarel Waterfall, and the famous Seven Colored Earth can be reached in about 20 minutes. Le Morne beach is about 15 km from your hotel.

The village of Chamarel and its traditional restaurants are within easy walking distance and it will take you about an hour to reach the airport.

Designed with a lot of wood and warm colors, the 20 rooms and suites create a pleasant atmosphere. They are widely spaced in the large garden and promise privacy.

Amenities include a minibar, a telephone, an iPod station, Wi-Fi (for a fee), and coffee and tea facilities. Plus, all rooms and suites come with a semi-open bathroom, an outdoor shower, and a terrace. By the way, you will look in vain for air conditioning and a TV in your room - in the cozy Lakaz Chamareal Exclusive Lodge, you will be fully immersed in nature.

Lakaz Standard Room - approx. 50 m², the three standard rooms with pool view are located near the main building. Maximum 2 people.

Suite - approx. 80 m², with a living room, a terrace, open-air shower and bathtub. These 4 suites nestle in the garden with a view of the mountains and a 16-meter pool. Maximum 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children (8-13 years old).

Garden Pool Suite - about 95 m², each of the eight suites offers a private pool and a Nespresso machine. Maximum 3 people or 2 adults & 2 children (8-13 years old).

Sea View Pool Suite - approximately 110 m², overlooking the Indian Ocean, the four Sea View Pool Suites feature a private pool and a Nespresso machine. Maximum 3 people.

Sea View Pool Piton Canot Suite - approximately 120 m², built on the highest point of the lodge, this suite promises exclusivity and plenty of privacy. A private pool with a magnificent view of the open sea as well as a Nespresso machine perfectly round off the concept. Of course, you use Wi-Fi in the Piton Canot Sea View Suite free of charge. Maximum 3 people.

The restaurant in the main building awaits you in the morning with a rich breakfast buffet and offers delicious à la carte dishes at lunch and in the evening. Most of the ingredients used are grown by the lodge. Enjoy delicious exotic fruits and end the evening with a cool drink and weekly live music.

There is also a bar, a TV lounge, and a library at your disposal.

Nature lovers will get their money's worth at the eco-friendly Lakaz Chamarel Exclusive Lodge. On exciting hikes, you will discover spectacular waterfalls and get to know Mauritius. You are also welcome to rent a mountain bike and explore the surroundings on two wheels.
