This tour is a can't-miss experience for every fan of the action-packed Lord of the Rings films. Hike past the picturesque landscapes and sheep farm until you reach the rural village, Matamata. A secluded fairytale farm at the foot of the mountain range, Kamai Ranges, forms the heart of the green hobbit country and the home of the Lord of the Rings hero, Frodo. Immerse yourself in the world of the hobbits, who live peacefully in small caves in the Shire, and feel like Frodo and Sam before your great journey.

During the tour with your English-speaking guide, you will experience how authentic and cinematic the hobbit village is. See the big Makrokarpa needle tree where the big birthday party for Frodo took place, the brick roadway where Gandalf walked with his horse carts, and over 40 hobbit caves. Stroll past colorful flower beds, quiet lakes, and ripe fruit trees. Let the incredible panoramic scenes reel you in as you learn that the exquisite natural landscape is the secret star of the movie trilogy!
