The Rasa Ria Resort is located not far away in the breathtaking scenery of the Sabah region around Mount Kinabalu. This region is characterized by rainforests, which also surround the hotel and thus provide optimal conditions for the in-house Orangutan Nature Interpretation Center. As the orangutan is a symbol for Sabah and because of the threat of deforestation, this center takes care of the "forest people". Also, the white sandy beach of Pantai Dalit will surely attract you to take a walk on the beach or to sunbathe. For children, there is a fun club in the resort that offers some exciting activities for the little ones. The city center and its numerous shopping opportunities are 35 minutes away. Kota Kinabalu International Airport can be reached in 40 minutes.

If you want to relax by the pool, but at the same time the little hunger comes, the Pool Bar offers Asian cuisine and snacks for every taste.

Rasa Ria Resort, with a total of 499 elegant rooms and suites, is divided into a garden wing and an ocean wing. All rooms are elegantly furnished with Malaysian-inspired decor and feature Internet access, IDD telephone, cable TV, tea and coffee making facilities, minibar, safe, hairdryer, bathrobe and slippers.

Guests accommodated in the Garden Wing enjoy a private terrace on the first floor and a private balcony on the second floor. As a guest here, you can choose a pillow to your liking from a pillow menu and have Shangri-La toiletries.

Superior Rainforest View - Approximately 36 m², spread over two floors with a private balcony and views of the tropical landscape of Sabah. In addition to WiFi, guests here have broadband Internet access.

Deluxe Garden View - approx. 36 m², on the first floor with private terrace and views over the carefully tended gardens.

Deluxe Sea View - approx. 36 m², located on two floors with views of the beach and the South China Sea.

Rooms in the Ocean Wing, on the other hand, lure you in with a lot of luxury and comfort. The total of 173 premium rooms have a private outdoor bathtub on the balcony, from which you can enjoy the view of the sea. Guests of these rooms also have the privilege of a separate garden, a stunning pool and Jacuzzi, and an exclusive breakfast at the Oceano restaurant.

Premier - Approximately 90 m² including balcony, overlooking the sea. Amenities include LCD TV with cable and DVD entertainment system and CBTL coffee maker.

Guests will find numerous culinary delights in the resort's 9 restaurants.

In the Oceano restaurant, you can taste everything that is conjured up in traditional Italian cuisine to your heart's content.

For guests who want to try local food, we recommend a visit to Tepi Laut Makan Street. Here you will be served various specialties that have been refined with a wide variety of spices.

The beach bar called Sampan Bar is especially recommended to end your evening relaxed with a cocktail.

Amidst the beauty of nature with Mount Kinabalu in the background, Rasa Ria Resort offers its guests an 18-hole golf course with its own Club House and practice green for training. Here, even as a beginner, you can take courses and try your hand at the various challenges.

To cool down, there is a pool with a separate children's area.

If the pool isn't enough, numerous water sports are offered or you can try your hand at fishing.

The resort's health club, with its own gym and classes, has something for everyone.

Other possible activities include horseback riding, biking, walking, playing tennis, tours to Mount Kinabalu, white-water rafting, rock climbing, archery, and deep sea fishing.
