What is a better way to start than with an excursion? A beautiful drive from viewpoint to viewpoint, seeing unforgettable panoramas of the tropical landscapes. From these lookouts, you can even see Thai Hin Ta & Hin Yai, best known as Grandmother and Grandfather Rocks! These two fascinating twin rocks lie on the coast's surf shore.
As you continue on to your next destination, the coconut plantation, listen to nature's beautiful silence and the subtle rustling of the swaying palm trees. Did you see something bouncing amongst the palms? Take a closer look because you will catch glimpses of little monkeys jumping through the trees! You will also get to try the tasty fruit during your tour! Can you taste the difference between the young and older coconuts? Which one do you like better? Toward the end of your visit, you will meet the locals and learn how to make coconut milk by hand! They will teach you all of the techniques you need to know to do it on your own.
Now it's time to learn about the island's culture and religion as you drive to the small temple, Wat Khunaram. Want to see something super unique? At this temple, there is a glass case that contains a mummified relic of a monk who died in the lotus position! Before your last stop, you will drive to the beautiful Na Muang Waterfall.
Finally, the last stop takes place in Nathon, the island's main city. Enjoy some free time and stroll through the streets and alleys where you can find a memorable souvenir in one of the numerous small shops. On the way back to the hotel, you will pass one of the most famous sights: the great Buddha, who looks out over the bay.
