Nestled amidst unspoiled wilderness between endless savannahs and lush bushland, the luxurious Severin Safari Camp nestles itself amongst 25 hectares of the Tsavo West National Park. With incomparable views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, you will be able to enjoy your safari adventure in Africa's open air. Perfectly integrated into nature, the campsite is not fenced so you can experience up-close encounters with wild animals; for example, giraffes, buffalo, elephants, wildebeest, and zebra.

The Finch Hattons and Kilaguni airstrips are approximately a 30-minute drive from the camp. We can easily arrange scheduled flights from Mombasa and Nairobi Wilson airports for you. If you wish to drive from Mombasa, you will arrive at the camp in about 5 hours.

During your stay, embark on exciting safari adventures with a local guide! Discover the beauty of Kenya's unspoiled nature and learn about its abundant wildlife. Search for the wildlife's footprints to hopefully see giraffes, hippos, and buffalos in the wild!

After an exciting safari, unwind by the outdoor swimming pool. Bask beneath the sun while enjoying a refreshing cocktail and a spectacular setting. The 27 luxurious tents and suites are designed in a natural style and feature handmade, traditional African wood furniture. Paying close attention to detail, bright and warm shades promise a tranquil ambience. Each of the octagonal tents and stone-built suites offers an excellent view of the nearby waterhole. Make yourself comfortable on your private veranda and surround yourself with the sounds of nature! With a bit of luck, you might even see Africa's wild animals from your terrace.

Tent (approx. 34 m²) - The canvas tents have a seven m² veranda where you can enjoy magnificent views. They also comprise a luxury bathroom (which includes a shower, toilet, and water basin), mosquito net, a hairdryer, safe, and free Wi-Fi. Maximum three people.

Junior Suite (approx. 42 m²) - These stone suites are pure perfection. They have a king-size bed, separate living room, minibar, and tea/coffee making facilities. The real highlight is the 17 m² sun deck that includes comfortable loungers, a 19 m² private patio, and an outdoor shower! Maximum two adults and one child or three adults.

Executive Suite (approx. 58 m²) - These spacious suites are ideal for families because they include an adjacent tent. Enjoy a king-size bed, a corner bathtub, tea/coffee making facilities, and a minibar. Unbeatable views of Mount Kilimanjaro and the vast savannah of Tsavo National Park will make this stay unforgettable. Maximum two adults and one child or three adults.

Kitani Cottage (approx. 55 m²) - The self-catering cottages come equipped with a kitchen, bathroom, a bedroom that fits four beds, and a private parking lot. Enjoy relaxing evenings on your roofed veranda while the crackling of your private fireplace lights up the animals passing by. Perfect for the entire family! Maximum four people.

At the camp's restaurant, Out of Africa, indulge at its breakfast buffet, enjoy its à la carte lunch menu, and treat yourself to a romantic dinner. Try a wide selection of delicious dishes complemented by an excellent wine list for the perfect culinary experience!

Thorn Tree Bar offers Kenyan coffee and tea in the early morning or tasty cocktails in the evening. You can also enjoy a drink on your tent's private terrace or at the evening campfire in front of the lit-up waterhole.
