Bula in Fiji! Fiji might not be the closest destination for many, but that's just part of its appeal - who among your acquaintances can say they've spent a holiday in the South Seas? Of course, you will find the typical postcard motifs here, such as white sandy beaches, azure sea, and coconut palms.
But Fiji is much more: culture, traditions, and unique experiences await you here. The underwater world, especially the Rainbow Reef, also has a lot to offer. Dive with us into the holiday paradise par excellence!
Fiji can be visited year round. The cooler months in June to November bring warm and dry days due to the lighter rain levels, and cooler nights. From November to March, it is hot and there can be occasional cyclones in Fiji.
Bula to the Fiji Islands! “Bula” is a versatile greeting that means something like “hello”, “good day”, “thank you” and you will hear it all the time on the dreamy islands. It is also used to wish someone good health or to ask "How are you?". The answer to this is, you guessed it, also “Bula”! The joie de vivre and general friendliness of the locals is really contagious and part of their culture, where values like family, friendship, and loyalty also play a big role.
After landing, you will arrive at the airport in Nadi and receive a warm welcome from our partner agency - which includes a friendly "Bula", of course. You can look forward to a typical flower necklace and refreshing water as well as cool towels to freshen up with. Here you will also receive all vouchers and important information, including a 24-hour hotline. Afterwards, a private transfer will take you to the fabulous Nanuku Auberge Resort in Pacific Harbour.
Known as the adventure capital of Fiji, Pacific Harbour offers a great choice of activities including white water or bilibili rafting, diving, surfing, jet skiing, hiking, deep sea fishing, and horse riding. If you want to get your adrenaline pumping, go shark diving in the Beqa Lagoon.
Arrive at your beachfront spa villa and freshen up - then you'll have plenty of time to explore your accommodation today and the surrounding area.
4 nights at Nanuku Auberge Resort Fiji***** with full board and selected non-alcoholic beverages at Beachfront Spa Villa, Pacific Harbour, Fiji
Today we head for the Mamanuca Islands, not far from the main island of Viti Levu, which can also be reached quickly from Denarau Marina. Like the Yasawa Islands, the 20 small islands are of volcanic origin. And it is here, between the Mamanuca archipelago and the Yasawa Islands, that Vomo Island is located. The island is surrounded by powdery white sandy beaches and colourful coral reefs. The island rises a total of 135 metres from the sea. In the past, the island was a popular holiday resort of the Fiji chiefs and today it is home to the luxurious Vomo Island Resort, where you will reside for the next few days.
Enjoy new and exotic dishes on your holiday too. The local cuisine is wonderful for new discoveries. Perhaps you will find your new favourite dish here? The spicy and aromatic dishes, typical of Fijian cuisine, boast an Indian touch. The national drink, kava, made from the ground roots of a plant in the pepper family, is typically taken during the kava ceremony. It is traditionally mixed with water and has a mild, calming effect. As you can see, there is a lot to explore beyond beautiful beaches.
