We recommend a trip to the Lipari Islands between April and September. Spring offers pleasant temperatures and plants in full bloom and splendor. The summer months are ideal for a relaxing beach vacation, as temperatures can rise above 30°C.
Today your journey begins with your landing at Catania airport. You will receive your luggage and meet our partner agency's representative in the arrivals hall. Together you will go to your transfer vehicle and drive to the port of Milazzo, where you will take the ferry to Lipari.
Even from a distance, the archipelago's largest island is a feast for the eyes: picturesque bays, dreamlike beaches, and the authentic Italian way of life characterize this beautiful picture-perfect slice of paradise.
You will check into the hotel that will be your home for the next seven nights and enjoy a refreshing welcome drink.

After enjoying breakfast in the restaurant, you can explore the island at your own pace. Drive along the winding panoramic road and enjoy magnificent views of the azure sea. Photography enthusiasts will love the extinct lava flows that permeate the landscape. You will pass by small picturesque towns like Pianoconte, Quattropani, or Acquacalda and visit the town's landmark, castle hill, towering high above Lipari.
But what exactly is Castle Hill? It is an imposing fortress that also houses the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo and one of Italy's most important archaeological museums. Discoveries dating back to six millennia ago tell Lipari's history. The view of the port of Marina Corta, lined by cafes and restaurants, is breathtaking.

Today we have an excursion for you to the islands of Panarea and Stromboli.
Panarea, with an area of 3.4 km², is the smallest inhabited island in the Lipari archipelago. Small alleys, spectacular hiking trails, and a green landscape define this picturesque charm, which has also been discovered by famous politicians, actors, and entrepreneurs in recent years. Especially in the summer months, the rich and beautiful from northern Italy reside here.
The fine sandy beaches and picturesque bays are beautiful. Cala Junco bay, in the very south of the island, framed by rocky cliffs with a beach perfect for relaxation, is particularly popular.
In the afternoon, we will continue to the volcanic island of Stromboli. Known for its eponymous volcano, the island is a particularly hot spot. This is because Stromboli is considered the most active volcano in Europe. In the northeast of the island at the famous fire slide Sciara del Fuoco. With a bit of luck, you can observe how lava and glowing chunks of rock fall into the sea.
In the evening, you will return to your hotel in Lipari.

After breakfast at the hotel, today you will ride a motorboat to the island of Alicudi, affectionately known as "the lonely one." There are few places in Europe where you can find such seclusion. Most of the island consists of wild nature. The houses on the island are connected by a system of stairs - there are no paved roads here. Chiesa San Bartolo Church, which boasts a magnificent view of the azure sea, is worth a visit.
Your next stop is the beautiful island of Filicudi, which utterly captivates nature lovers and those seeking tranquility. The third smallest Liparian island is about 10 km² and is known for its wealth of unspoiled nature. Moreover, the island offers a large number of grottoes. The Grotto blue Marino is one of the most beautiful of Sicily.
Enjoy the natural wonders before returning to Lipari during the evening.

Today we will take you to Salina, probably the greenest of the Lipari Islands.
Salina is the second largest island of the archipelago after Lipari. Its many natural water sources are constantly shining in lush green. The flora is very diverse, and some animal species, such as the dormouse, are native to the area.
Culinary highlights of the island are the golden yellow dessert wine, Malvasia delle Lipari, and the savory capers, which thrive particularly well on the nutrient-rich volcanic soil - make sure to try it!
On the 90-minute-long bus tour, you'll get to know the vegetation-rich island from a new perspective. Keep your camera handy during the three photo stops — you'll be amazed by the beautiful scenery and Italian charm.
Did you like the green island? With great photos in your gallery, you will head back towards Lipari in the evening.

The earth hisses and steams as the smell of sulfur rises in your nose on the fascinating volcanic island of Vulcano, your destination for the day. As the name suggests, the island is home to an active volcano that last erupted in 1890.
We recommend that you put on your walking shoes, as the approximately 30-minute-long (depending on your fitness level) climb to Gran Cratere is an incredible experience (optional). Intense sulfur vapors pour out of the cracks in the earth, which bubbles and steams to the fullest. You can enjoy a magnificent view of Lipari and Salina from the crater rim.
Tip for the brave: enjoy a sulfur bath in a mud pool.
Exhausted but happy, you will return to your hotel on Lipari this evening.
