In 2013, one of the world's largest water parks opened its doors for the first time. Welcome to Yas Waterworld Abu Dhabi! This adrenaline-packed destination is opposite the Ferrari World Theme Park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. It’s home to 43 attractions on a 15-hectare site, so there’s room for the entire family to enjoy themselves! As you get lost in your adrenaline rush, you will consistently see the park’s motto “The Legend of the Lost Pearl” throughout your day. Slides, an Arabian market, and even a pearl display refer to this motto and fairytale about a girl named Dana who goes into the desert to find the lost pearl. The pearl brought prosperity to her village and defended against bandits.

The park’s highlight is the 515-meter-long water roller coaster called Bandit Bomber. Yes: everyone gets wet on this ride! At specific points, passengers can aim for spectators with their water pistols.

An absolute must for adrenaline lovers is the Liwa Loop, the first water slide on the Arabian Peninsula with a loop. Another highlight is Dawwama Ride - a slide with a 20-meter high funnel and a large tire raft that offers space for up to six people.
