You will spend a day far away from the tourist crowds for a (un)ordinary day with Chiang Mai locals on our excursion! Homemade food in a typical Thai neighborhood awaits you.

Your current host, Mr. Prapat, picks you up in his car in the morning and takes you to his neighborhood to spend the day with you and his family. As a guest gift, you’ll receive fisherman pants made from traditional Thai cotton pants.

Stroll through the small family garden and pick fresh ingredients that give dishes the country’s unique flavors. Then, in an interactive cooking class, you’ll learn how to prepare authentic northern Thai dishes that you’ll later eat with the family.

The rest of the afternoon is at your disposal! Explore the area, capture the scenes of daily life, and soak up the neighborhood’s calm atmosphere.
