Angsana Cayo Santa Maria

The Angsana Cayo Santa Maria is the newest gem in the renowned Banyan Tree Group and an addition to the high-quality hotel offerings on the island archipelago in northern Cuba. The hotel is located on the natural sandy beach of Cayo Las Brujas right next to Cayo Santa Maria. The airport of Varadero can be reached in about 3.5 hours. You can reach the Havana International Airport in five hours.

During the construction of the Angsana Cayo Santa Maria, mostly natural materials were used. In addition, the house impresses with its Asian-influenced atmosphere, the powdered sugar beach and the spacious rooms. Two swimming pools invite you to relax. Guests will look in vain for plastic loungers here; instead, the resort offers upholstered loungers and chairs. High-quality beds with mosquito nets ensure a restful night's sleep.

The 252 rooms are modernly equipped with bath/WC, hairdryer, 32-inch LCD TV, telephone, air conditioning, iron/ironing board, safe and minibar. Some rooms offer a balcony, which provides additional space for rest and relaxation. Depending on the room type, hammocks can be found on the terrace/balcony.

The different categories vary mainly in location. Some rooms offer a sea or garden view. Other categories are located in close proximity to the beach. In some of the categories, check-in is directly in the room.

The gastronomic area awaits you with two a la carte restaurants and a buffet restaurant with international and Cuban cuisine. You can indulge in refreshing drinks at the two bars. You have the option to book an all-inclusive package with breakfast, lunch, dinner and a selection of drinks and snacks You can end the evenings wonderfully in the Jazz Bar.

The Papillon restaurant serves French, Italian, Spanish, and Asian dishes.

The Azure Buffet offers a wide selection of fresh, international dishes. At the poolside Bananas Snack Bar, enjoy quick and delicious snacks like pizza, bugs and fresh salads.

The Sands Bar & Grill is a good spot for a delicious Cuban lunch. In the evening, dinner is served Caribbean-style on the grill. The Jazz Bar serves classic cocktails and modern creations. The wine selection must also be mentioned, as it ranges from Cuban wines to internationally known selections.

For a fee, you can use the tennis courts and enjoy numerous water sports activities, such as fishing, windsurfing, diving, and kayaking. In addition, the hotel offers an indoor gym. Relaxing massages are offered at the spa for a fee.
