Follow in the footsteps of ancient kings and visit the former capital known as Ayutthaya. Your day tour starts with a morning train ride from contemporary Bangkok to traditional Ayutthaya. The ride will take you through green landscapes and lush rice fields.

In addition to visiting the most imposing temples, the program also includes a visit to a lively market and a walk through the city's Muslim quarter. Be sure to try the local delicacy called Roti Sai Mai - a kind of Thai cotton candy with influences of the Indian Roti pancake.

After lunch at a local restaurant, take a leisurely tour on a longtail boat. Your last stop is the summer palace of King Rama IV. The tour ends with a tuk-tuk ride to the local train station in Ayutthaya, where you board the train back to Bangkok.
