Tekoma Boutik Hotel

On the east coast of Rodrigues, the small Tekoma Boutik Hotel is located on the fine sandy beach of Anse Ally, not far from the Trou d'Argent nature reserve. The small island, also called the Pearl of the Mascaras, is part of the Mascaras archipelago and, unlike its sister island, Mauritius, it is known less for its multitude of high-end luxury hotels than for its unspoiled nature.

The hotel is about 30 minutes from the airport. For a little shopping, the capital, Port Mathurin, is about a 20-minute drive away. The hospital in Mont Lubin is about 15 minutes away.

The Tekoma Boutik Hotel is one of the best addresses on the island. It boasts modern design, a relaxed atmosphere and personalized service. In addition, the hotel is devoted to sustainability. The hotel has a cooperation with the Francois Leguat Nature Reserve, which is committed to the reforestation of endemic forests and the preservation of flora and fauna on the island. All the water used is purified and repurposed, for example, for the garden. Solar cells ensure that electricity from renewable sources is produced directly on site. The hotel also tries to avoid the use of plastic as far as possible. Overall, the hotel pursues many projects that revolve around topics such as environmental education and support for the local community.

The total of 31 rooms are all individually designed and distributed in smaller bungalows in the spacious garden. All bungalows have a small terrace with a view of the sea. The sea, the volcanoes of the island and the natural vegetation play a thematic role in the design of the rooms. Products from the island were used almost exclusively in the construction of the buildings, which is why they blend into the landscape so harmoniously.

The hotel has a 45 m² pool and a private section on Anse Ally beach. The island is perfect for extended hikes in the nearby national park or long walks on the beach. Snorkeling and diving excursions can also be booked through an external provider. The waters off Rodrigues are known for their rich biodiversity among divers. There is also a little wellness center where massages and treatments are offered.
